We face pressing challenges, and can’t afford to ignore them any longer. I won’t.
I’m a former public school teacher, environmental and clean energy lawyer, and federal prosecutor, who prosecuted sex trafficking, hate crimes, civil rights violations, and January 6th rioters. I now sue the world’s largest corporations, like AI and oil companies, on behalf of the public.
I’m running for State Representative because our state is falling behind on issues we’ve neglected. Tech companies’ practices threaten our kids, economy, jobs, and privacy. Meanwhile, the status quo on public education and housing and childcare affordability is unacceptable; we recently ranked 31st in K-12 education performance, and Seattle is one of the country’s most expensive cities. And we haven’t adopted successful, evidence-based public safety approaches, perhaps because we have few legislators with public safety experience.
